Indian Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) published an official notification regarding the recruitment of various Technician Posts. Now on that line the board will conduct a written examination of RRB Technician 2024. As per the notification, a total no. of 9144 vacant posts will be filled. Among these posts 1092 posts have been released for Technician Grade I posts and rest 8052 posts have been released for Technician Grade – 3 (Blacksmith/ Bridge/ Carriage and Wagon, Crane Driver, Diesel/ Electrical/ Diesel Electrical/ Diesel Mechanical/ Electrical/ TRS/ EMU/ Fitter/ Permanent Way/ Refrigeration and AC/ Riveter/ S&T/ Track Machine/ Turner/ Welder.
The officials accepted the application from 09 March to 08 April 2024. The correction window was open till 09 to 18 April 2024. Exam Pattern for RRB Technician Exam 2024
The RRB will conduct a separate CBT for each pay level for the RRB Technician Exam 2024. Here we have mentioned a detailed RRB Technician Exam Pattern below.
(A) For Pay Level – 5 (Technician Grade I Signal)
- The Exam will be of Objective Type.
- Normalization of marks will be done for CBT held in multiple shifts.
- Marks secured in this exam shall be counted for short listing of candidates for further stage.
- Paper will contain 100 questions.
- Each question will be of one mark.
- A negative marking of 0.33 marks will also be there.
- Time duration will be of 90 minutes.
